Growing up as one of twelve children during the Depression, Léon's childhood was full of chores, family time, and farm adventures. He became a dedicated teacher and principal, always involved in his community. Léon's love for learning and adventure took him to various places, and he touched many lives through his work and kindness.
We had a great time working with Léon and his family on this book. It was a privilege to hear his stories and see his passion for life. We hope his family enjoys this book as much as we enjoyed creating it, and that it brings back wonderful memories for years to come!
